folder data source not accepting text file schema

Kitty Geiger asked 5 years ago
I have a folder data source. File Type is a text file. I have mapped a sample file as the template. when I click , create a schema, I choose pipe delimited, no headings and ANSI. I receive the error
ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][ODBC Text Driver] In the text file specification ‘Concur.txt’, the Format option is invalid.
 I even tried to copy the schema that was created from a different map that uses the same text file and same error.
I think it’s my template, which is a sample file with data similar to this:
DETAIL|2447|2017-01-07|1|ADAMJOH|ADAMS|JOHN|H|NRDCCP|109508|90|12|U|GENFUN|||||7A2760FC8F9E42F888B1|28555|GREAT PLAINS|USD|UNITED STATES|2017-01-05|2016-12-20

For a Text file what kind of template format is required?

You didn’t say what version you are on but i’m guessing SC 2015.
On SC 2015, the Pipe Delimited file is broken for folder data sources (ie bug), it is fixed in SC 2016.
