Failed to connect to SmartConnect database

Hi all,

I have SmartConnect installed and running successfully on my server. However I have installed the SmartConnect client on my workstation and I am getting the message:

"Could not log into the SQL Server"

I am setup as Admin in SmartConnect and can log into the server through RDP and launch SmartConnect.

Any ideas? I need get SmartConnect installed on 5 clients total and running integrations next week.

Lori,

This usually means that you didn't enter the correct SmartConnect user password during the installation on the client as you entered on the server.

You will need to uninstall the client and reinstall with the correct Smart Connect user password.

I have confirmed in the registry that the password is correct. I have also uninstalled and done a client reinstall with the same issue.

Any other thoughts?
