Excel Password Protection asked 9 years ago
In SmartConnect, is there an option to unlock a password-protected Excel workbook? Otherwise, I need to re-save the Excel workbook with no password protection before running a bulk data load.

You shouldn't have to unprotect an excel workbook before running an integration on that data. The only case when that wouldn't be true would be if it was locked down to prevent the data from even being viewed/read on the excel side. If that is the case you would have to change that option within excel before the integration.
