Dynamically add a distribution to a document

Is it possible to programmatically or otherwise dynamically add a distribution to a document within SmartConnect? For example, suppose the data set is a list of distributions and we want to automatically create the offset distribution before submitting the whole thing as a journal entry.

Paul,
You could yes.
You’d be able to do something like I did in this blog article:

keep track of the debit/credit amount.
then in a new “create OFFSET” node that you would add you would group your lines to be 1 line (since we only need 1 record inserted). Then supply the debit & credit amounts.
pretty much the same concept that the blog article is doing with RM distributions.
