I assume John Ellis wanted to underline that there is no place in SC 2018 that you can change the default number or rows returned in the data preview …
I’ve a map with a CSV file and would like to go behind the 10 rows that are showed in the preview by default ? is there a setting somewhere to allow for an increase of this value ? I’ve been looking everywhere and couldn’t find one.

When using a Text File data source SmartConnect will default certain settings, such as:
Query
Preview Row Count
Column headers
If you need greater functionality to edit these settings, you will need to use an ODBC data source pointing to your text file.
