CRM_ITEMS_RT Map question

I have this map working fine on update but I also want to use it to insert new products into CRM when created in GP. The user guide manual CRM Templates says to only set this map to update – what is the reason for this and how do I achieve Insert?

Can’t make an example of everything. Whomever created it felt like they wanted to do an ‘update only’ map I would assume.
2. and how do I achieve Insert?
Go into the Realtime Data source for that object and open it. Under Linked Maps, choose what you want that data source to do – Create/Update/Delete as you wish and Process to activate those events.
