I installed Smartconnect on a new laptop of an existing Smartconnect user.  I installed Smartconnect and all indented options and eConnect for GP 2010.  The user can launch Smartconnect but receives the following error when attempting to edit or run a map.  eConnect is not installed on this computer or you do not have access.  If I log onto the laptop I can edit and run maps.  What are the potential causes of this error?

Just so I understand, the error is actually "eConnect is not installed on this computer or you do not have access", correct?

Check to see the Microsoft eConnect Service is running when you log in as that other user.
