I have a series of invoices and credits that I want to import as RM transactions into the same batch. How do I control the next document number by document type? I have created a GP rolling column for sales/invoices and one for credits. I attempted to create a calculation and base the rolling column on a document type field but it appears I can't reference rolling columns in calculations. Is there a solution for this?
There isn't an easy way to do this on the current build. However you will have the ability to set the document type and such based off your source data directly in the rolling column setup on the 2014 version of SmartConnect. The 2014 version should be released either this week or next. The only requirement to use that is to have the actual document type directly in the source that you can pass through.
