I was told by a rather experienced SmartConnect consultant that it is not possible to keep both sides of an integration in sync – that doing so would cause an infinite loop. Is this accurate? We are needing to keep CRM Accounts and GP Customers ‘in sync’.
Depending on how the maps are created it certainly can happen, however, we have a blog article that explains exactly how to create a GP/CRM bi-directional integration that would not create an infinite loop.
