Adding extra text to GL journal line reference interferes with AA window trigger?

Hi All
I have designed and tested a simple extension to a GL Journal Line Reference field to keep more text, and it works fine. However we have now turned on Analytical Accounting and the trigger to open the Extender window no longer works. Any ideas? are the systems in conflict? I set the Extender window to open on field leaving and field changing but both options do not work. the manual opening of the Extender window still works.

You might have to log out of GP and back in again for the triggers to take effect.
Otherwise I don’t see that turning on AA should matter as far as I’ve ever heard. And I don’t see how your modifications to the field noted would have any bearing UNLESS your change of field involves hiding the original GP field and replacing it with yours. So that would mean the event is on a field that isn’t actually visible (and therefore actually entered/exited). But you don’t suggest that is what you are doing.
