It makes sense:  accountants love Excel and Business Central is for accountants. Out of the box, Business Central offers ‘Edit in Excel’ functionality but it just doesn’t cut it for most users. Thankfully if you own SmartConnect, we have a solution!

 

We made our General Journal template easy to use and easy to customize to keep you moving along and cut down on data entry errors.  A General Journal entry can have a lot of fields!  Trying to remember every account number and many different types of codes is frustrating and time consuming, but our templates make data entry easy by giving drop-downs.  With so many fields on a general journal, the ability to add or remove fields keeps the interface clean.  With how easy it is to tailor the template to your businesses’ needs, there’s no reason to have to look at columns that aren’t relevant to you.  Keep it simple!
