The run map function takes the settings defined in the configuration window, creates a data table, converts the table to xml, then sends the data to the SmartConnect WCF REST service for processing.

A successful processing result is displayed to the user in a popup message box.

Run failures may be displayed in either a process errors window or via a highlighted source line.
