What skill set do I need to use to make eXtender sing and dance?
Any regular financial controller, IT manager, clever accountant, smart accounts payable clerk, etc. can build eXtender screens. Building screens takes only a few minutes. The important thing is getting a business sign off, document your new screens and train your team on the new screens you've built.
Going the next Step
Enterprise logic code is written in sanscript (which is another way of saying dexterity). So after building all the screens you need, you need to tell someone with a grasp of dex coding, what you want the screen to do - and when to do it. The coding is usually very simple and quick to deploy - but makes a massive difference to your business. So the regular guy can build all the eXtender screens to capture data, but in order to make them sing and dance you must call on your GP reseller or the eOne consulting team to go the next step.
